This is a family run business and I really wish it will last. Because there so many cafés. The majority of the desserts and cakes and the mains and soups are homemade as well, from the lady that runs it with her family. It’s their first venture here. But there’s lots of competition. They’re very kind and accommodating people. They have a small hot plate to heat up soup and a small oven for heating up food safely. I hope they survive as their baked cheesecake and rice pudding is delicious.

19 May 2024 Catering for my granddaughter's outdoor birthday party, Aroma prepared a great selection of snacks and dips for kids and grown ups, including vegan and vegi options. Packed well and enjoyed by all. Delicious true homemade delicacies, super friendly owners/managers. My place of choice A spinach pie, a pot of mint tea and instant transition to the Leventines 26.05.2022 Today, I tried the Olive and feta cheese. So delicious specially with a pot of mint tea. 02.08.2022 Took my granddaughter with me on a middle eastern food trip in George Street Hove and enjoyed chicken shawarma, falafel wraps and knafeh. Delicious and authentic 02.01.2023 A great start of the year, more hot delicious Mediterranean delicacies most needed for this weather. 15.03.2023 Trying a delicious spinach and cheese snack washed with a glass of mint tea. Lovely friendly atmosphere created by the owners. 10 May 2023 Another trip to the east and this time with a traditional home made chicken kabsah flavoured with the owners unique blend of spices served with a side of delicately flavoured natural yoghurt, it's not a meal it's a very pleasant experience 27 May 23 An extension of the pleasure of eating in Aroma has been made by the addition of a tasty range of dairy and plant based ice cream sampled today by my granddaughter 21 June 23 Melokhia with chicken was today's special. Very authentic and tasty served with a glass of mint tea. 16 March 2024 Had a wonderful iftar once more with the family. Enjoyed by all including the 6 month baby who shared with us some delicious homemade baklawa. Ramadan iftars are highly recommended

I went with my toddler and husband and had a delicious Kale and Mango juice with vegan chicken shawarma and my hubby had a meat chicken shawarma. The owners were extremely friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.

Hands down my new favourite home away from home. What a way to start my week, I'm very excited to have found this place, food almost as comfort as my own mothers cooking. Wonderful atmosphere and the community built here is fantastic. A warm welcome and various vegan options has me returning.

Delicious & excellent service (fab family run cafe), plus reasonably priced - from cakes, baklava, spiced chicken with rice to the best chai lattes we have ever had! I'm coming back to try the vine leaves and other delicious treats soon!

The best felafel in town, now that one in Brighton has gone downhill. Really crunchy homemade felafel, and the whole wrap crisped up at the end. Lovely people, always pristine clean facilities

New to Hove is this modern cafe in George Street, here you can get middle eastern food thats freshly made from scratch on the premises, if your looking to try something new here you can get Jordanian, Georgian and Turkish recipes consisting of irresistible pastries, savoury items, sandwiches including vegetarian options, hot drinks and delicious tasting soup. This is a super friendly family run place that is highly recommended.

I thought I'd try this new Middle Eastern cafe in Hove and I was not disappointed. The food was full of flavour, even the salad was so delicious! The coffee was like velvet and the atmosphere was chic and warming. The staff were so friendly and gave excellent recommendations as to what foods to try. I honestly cannot recommend this gem enough. You will not be disappointed.
